Featured Volunteer Highlights: Sahara Smith
The Off Broadway Theatre is pleased to recognize Sahara Smith as our Featured Volunteer with this production. Sahara first came to the OBT about three years ago, to watch a performance of Laughing Stock, and she enjoyed the place so much she's stayed on as a volunteer! She works at the concessions stand and has moved into a role as one of our capable stage managers, first filling that important job with last year's Anni of Aquamarine Gables and now as stage manager of Revengers. On top of that, she's training in the box office to work some of our evening shifts there, as well! Sahara likes anything Doctor Who, cheesecake, movies and books of all sorts, and, of course, her boyfriend, Cooper Maestas. Her favorite color is "TARDIS blue." She aspires to be a fantasy writer and to become a professional musician. The OBT management and Sahara's fellow volunteers are grateful to have such a wonderful and hard-working gal on team!
